Eating Legumes and Whole Wheat Lowers HbA1c

A study from the University of Toronto confirms that eating legumes (beans, chickpeas, lentils, etc) and whole-wheat products lowers hemoglobin A1c values (HbA1c), a marker of average blood sugar used for the treatment of diabetes.
